Leaving Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

Our last day in Sydney was like the last P-day missionaries get before they leave. We went for a walk through our favorite botanical gardens. We walked across the Harbor Bridge. We rode the train up to Parramatta and rode the ferry back down the Parramatta River. We attended the Hyde Park ***************** Family Home evening that night and said good bye to friends. Just to let you know we really did finally fly out of Sydney with our "stuff" like extra luggage and 4 boxes of office things, sent by truck. It was a pretty smooth way to travel and our stuff actually arrived before we did (because we had it all wrapped up to go a couple of days before we flew out. We said good by to Sheena, our former next door neighbor and the one who's flat we lived in for three months while we were homeless and she was in Scotland. We left beautiful sunny Sydney with all of their beautiful cockatoos and flowers that defied the term "winter".

Great pictures -- and the two of you look sooooo good. These have been good days for both of us, huh? I can hardly believe these 18 months have gone by so fast. We will certainly miss the mission field, it has been a spiritual journey and a wonderful time. Aren't we lucky???
