Linda and Michael Flynn in Melbourne again.
We left beautiful sunny Sydney with all of their beautiful cockatoos and flowers that defied the term "winter" and arrived to a cold, dismal, rainy day in Melbourne. After a good nights sleep we awoke the next morning to beautiful sunny skies with white fluffy clouds. What a difference a day makes.

We went on a marvelous walk, which we try to do here every day, and enjoyed getting re-acquainted with the area. We are in a different flat than we had before but only about 5 blocks away so we were already familiar with charming shopping center and even discovered another quaint street of shops closer to our new flat. It is all an adventure.

We began back at the PROV (Public Records Office of Victoria) the next afternoon and worked there our regular 8 hour days, getting acquainted with the new project (inquest for the 1800's) and some new staff. We miss our friends back in Sydney but were delighted to be warmly welcomed by friends here in Melbourne. We actually live in Essendon about 20 mins. north of downtown Melbourne.
We got to visit the COMO House on the south side of Melbourne which is an old Victorian Home that began as a sheep station - (plantation) of 55 acres. We went with volunteers from the PROV and that was the most rewarding experience and gave us a better picture of what the countryside was like and how the area surrounding Melbourne has grown.
The original house was only a one story but as the people became wealthy from the sheep and cattle production the original home was sold and the new owners built a second story for their 10 children which included a ballroom. It was fascinating to get a better glimpse of old Australia.
One thing is haven't mentioned lately is our testimony that the work that we are doing is the Lord's work. He blesses us as we serve and He blesses our family. No matter whether we are in Sydney or Melbourne the Lord's work continues and the Church is the same throughout the world. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is true and has been restored in these later days. We are privileged to have this opportunity to serve in Australia.

You two are amazing, all the times you have had to move and you are still smiling.You are Lucky too see so many different parts of Australia.
