Melbourne Temple

Melbourne Temple What a joy to be back in the Temple of our Lord. It doesn’t matter whether it is large or small or located in Bountiful, Utah; Anchorage, Alaska; Washington DC, Maryland; Seoul, Korea, or Melbourne, Australia – they are all beautiful and the feeling of love and peace is present. We saw a number of our ward members there Saturday morning serving as Temple workers. We pray that all who can take advantage of attending the Temple on a regular basis do so. Those who aren't we pray you will get prepared and go. We invite you to enjoy the blessings of the Temple. Following our time at the Temple we went over to the church next door where they were holding a family history seminar and met the lady who was instrumental in getting the contract for our project at the PROV. She was also very familiar with the various genealogical societies in the State of Victoria and has offered to help Michael with his search for family records. We then explored a couple of cemeteries in the area and found the headstones or markers of some of the Rowan relatives like Henrietta and Edith Rowan and Alexander Lee Rowan.
