Northeast Victoria, Australia is a blaze and many have lost their lives and their homes. The merging of fires and change of winds caused a fire storm that caught many unaware of the immediate danger. People lost everything even their lives
There is a fire storm of wickedness and sin that is sweeping across the world and completely destroying homes and families. President Gordon B Hinckley (Prophet, Seer, and Revelator)stated in 1999 and repeated recently by President Monson (Prophet, Seer, and Revelator) that we must prepare our families for the storms ahead that will threaten our lives and our families. They counseled us to 1- Pray daily individually and as a family 2- Read scriptures daily individually and as a family
3-Attend Church and the Temple 4- Hold Family home evening 5- Pay tithing and teach the children to do like wise
We pray for you, our loved ones that you will be vigilant in keeping the commandments of God, in listening and obeying the Prophet that you might not be caught unaware of the immediate dangers around you.
We are safe, though far away from home. The Lord is mindful of all of us and though we may face difficult times we will be strengthened and blessed to pass over or through those trials when we do as the Lord asks.

We are grateful you are safe from the fires and harm. We, too recognize all the dangers and storms of life around us, and pray for our own families to remember those covenants He gives us for our protection.
