Happy New Year 2009!

Happy New Year 2009 from Down Under! We followed the young missionary's rule to stay inside on New Years Eve. However, we did watch the spectacular fireworks display on our little TV as well as a minimal view from our window. The sky was lit up green, then red, then gold as we heard the explosions and saw the sparkles of the fireworks. The show was spectacular. They had a show at 9 pm for the children and then again the fabulous one at midnight. During the interim we put together an Australia Map puzzle. Perfect way to spend the New Years Eve Celebration. We wish you all a safe New Years Celebration and prosperous, happy, family oriented New Year 2009.

Thank you for your wonderful blog site and the way you make everything come to life for us, the readers! We love and miss you here in Melbourne, but we are excited for your new adventures. You have been and continue to be, a great example to us and we have leaned heavily on that example - thank you. Blessings upon you both during 2009. It's great to be involved in the Lord's work. Was delighted to get into your blog again and read of your adventures and testimonies. Sounds like you are really enjoying the missionary work there. We too are loving our mission and can hardly believe we are here in this special sacred place. The weather is COLD right now, so we envy you having summer. HA! We send our love and best wishes to both of you for the New Year. Our Love!
