We had the privilege and delight to stay with Lesley & Peter Holland in Ridgewood, Western Australia about an hour north of Perth. They made our stay feel like a little bit of heaven.
Lesley & Peter live very close to the ocean and they took us along the beach.
We also visited Western Australia's aquarium with their large undersea walkabout.

Lesley & Peter Holland Lesley is the great granddaughter of Lee Rowan Jr. & Margaret Jane Davies. Lesley's grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Rowan is the sister of Michael's grandmother, Ella Phoebe May Rowan. (Michael's his father's mother).
Through family history research we were able to connect with cousins here in Australia and during our visits many of these cousins got connected to each other and are sharing information.
A large Rowan - Dunlap reunion took place at their home. Peter & Judi Rowan a descendant of Thomas Rowan, Lee Rowan Jr.'s brother.
Most were Dunlaps from Lesley's line. The house was full of people eager to have an excuse to get together. One of the blessings of our visit was it provided an excuse to gather extended family together. Stories and information were shared as well as plenty of food and laughter.
Joseph Smith taught: "the same sociality which we enjoy here in this life will be forever with us in the world to come, in eternal glory." (Doctrine & Covenants 130:2)
Thank-you Lesley and Peter for showing us the sites and for making this all happen. We loved your company and frienship. We had a most memorable visit.
