On Sunday the 15th of Nov we bid our dear cousin, Lou, farewell since we will be leaving Australia before he returns to Melbourne. Lou has done so much to bring the Flynn & Rowan families together again. The two families were joined with the marriage of Ella May Phoebe Rowan and Michael Flynn, Michael's paternal grandparents.

Ella May Phoebe was from Mitchells Town (across the Goulburn River from the Tablik Winery)in Victoria, Australia and moved to Westerna Australia when she was in her mid-twenties. She met and married Michael Flynn who lived in Perth, Australia. When Michael's father, Reuben moved to the USA the relatives were separated by a great distance of land and ocean.

Through the efforts of Lou, an outstanding genealogist and family historian, Michael has gathered a lo of valuable information on the Flynns and Rowan families and has made connections with many of his Australian and New Zealand relatives. They too have also given information and pictures. We appreciate all them for their friendship and love.

We look forward to meeting more of Michael's cousins when we visit Perth and Brisbane. Thank-you Lou! Through the Lord Jesus Christ and His plan of Salvation sealing of families together for all eternity are possible in the Temples of the Lord such as this one in Melbourne.

We were honored at a farewell party hosted by the Purdons and by Tava that included friends from the PROV and from the Glenroy Ward.
It was a lot of fun. Plenty of food and lots of good company.

Besides us another Senior Sister Backshall was leaving that week and a Sister Mond from the ward was moving. Plus the Adams were in town and so they were honored for their return visit.

We were also guest at the Joseph and Maria's for dinner. She served homemade ravioli which was heavenly and that was only the appetizer then we had chicken and potatoes and vegetable and salad. Needless to say we had more than we could eat and so they gave us food to take home.
Wonderful company and delicious food, can't think of a better combination.
