Baptism at Warrnambool

During our 4 day adventure we had the opportunity to visit the Warrnambool Branch in the southwest corner of the Mission. The Chapel was a large 1 main room building that was capable of dividing into 5 separate rooms plus there was a small office, kitchen, and restrooms. We were quite impressed. On Sunday the Chapel normally is sparse but this being a long holiday weekend (Melbourne Cup Day Weekend - horse race that stops the Nation) there were many visitors staying with friends or family. We had the opportunity to talk with a visiting member of the Stake Presidency from the Australia Melbourne East Mission and requested assistance to get more volunteers and service missionaries in the PROV (Public Records Office of Victoria)from their Stake. The highlight of the day was to witness 3 baptisms in the river following Fast & Testimony and the 3 hour block. The older gentleman was from Hungary and had escaped during World War II. His testimony was inspiring.
