Nov..,2008 – Our first stop was in Nagambie to visit Lorraine Webster another distant cousin of Michael's who has provided a lot of family history information. Dinner by Nagambie lake was breathtaking.We then made one more visit to his Lee & Margaret Jane Davies Rown's ancestorial spot of Mitchells Town across from the Tahblik Winery.

We left the State of Victoria and traveled along the Snowy Mountain Highway and the Eastern Coast of New South Wales where we encountered kangaroos resting under the shade of eucalyptus trees, emus walking through the fields of freshly cleared grass, tall pines mingled with ferns and palm trees.
Rivers, creeks, and reservoirs though lower than normal (but not as bad as in Victoria) shimmered in the sun. Tall mountains covered with rich green foliage surrounded us as we traversed the windy hillsides down into the plains and onto the ocean viewed coast line.
We stayed overnight at Bateman’s Bay overlooking the Tasmanian Sea. We watched a man unload fish for the next day’s market. Early morning we caught a beautiful sunrise. We visited Hymas Bay, Kami, Canberra (Captial Territory of Australia) and on to Sydney.
In Mortdale, a suburb of Sydney we met our new Mission President -McMaster from Salt Lake City and the mission office couple Cartners from Brisbane, Australia. The young missionaries helped us unload our packed car of all of our earthly belongings and moved us into our flat in central Sydney. We are situated a block from Hyde Park, next to the high rise that houses the Church and a few blocks around the corner from the Masonic Lodge where we’ll work. We’re ready for another adventure and service in this part of the Lord’s kingdom.
