Started: Jan। 25, 2008 - Friday - electronic submission of our Mission papers after our meeting with Bishop Larson and Stake President Frischknecht of the Fruit Heights 5th ward, Fruit Heights Stake.
Feb. 13, 2008- Wednesday Received call to the Australia Melbourne West Mission to labor with the Family and Church History Department in Melbourne, Australia. Linda was also asked by Dr. Dotty of Mission Medical to help with the mental care of missionaries in Australia.
March 25, 2008 - Submitted our application for a work VISA in Australia - after receiving additional medical checks and FBI finger print ok.
April 7 - 9, 2008 Trained with Jay Davis at the Provo MTC in Digital Imagine for the Church History Department. Began training and working at the Utah Archives - recording Utah 1910 birth certificates. We will be doing similar work when we get to Australia.
April 15, 2008 - Notified that our VISAS are here and we are really going to Australia for 18 months starting in June 2008.
